EBLOCK is one third or a half lighter than the equivalent fired clay brick and it is only 1/4 the weight of dense concrete brick. The reason consists in the porous structure, where million of air bubbles occupies 80% of the total block structure.
This unique characteristic leads to save the materials required for frame and foundation of the building as well as ease the construction and delivery process.


Acoustic Insulation

EBLOCK has natural sound insulation thanks to its porous structure and its ability to dampen mechanical vibration energy. The sound coming from inside or outside of the room moves in Zig Zag direction, in which it will be split up and minimized substantially before going through the wall.


Thermal Insulation and Energy Efficiency

EBLOCK has very low thermal conductivity. So space inside EBLOCK building tends to be cooler in summer and warmer in winter. As a result, the energy consumption for air conditioning can be saved up to 40%, providing long-term added value for occupants.
Moreover, in the case of a normal fire, the wall made of EBLOCK is invincible under the heat of 1200 degrees Celsius and its structure will not be changed with the sudden cold water. The test shows that EBLOCK wall is capable of being fire-resistant more than within 4 hours.



Durability

EBLOCK is the construction material with high uniformity in which the concrete structure is cured in the high-pressure saturated steam. In the autoclaving process, chemical elements and crystal structure are stabilized to generate solid structure mainly including tobermorite.
Therefore, EBLOCK is highly durable and has the highest compressive strength among light-weight construction materials and more sustainable than any other concrete blocks.
